Preparation and Usage
When ready to eat, the base should yield slightly to pressure and there should be a strong pineapple perfume. To serve: Cut the pineapple into quarters, lengthways. Slice off the central core then cut the flesh in to cubes. Run the knife between the flesh and the skin to remove the cubes.
Best served at room temperature.
Always wash work surfaces, cutting boards, utensils and hands before and after preparing food and after disposal of packaging.
Wash fruit and vegetables before use.
