Preparation and Usage
Always wash work surfaces, equipment and hands before and after preparing food and after disposal of packaging. Wash fruit and vegetables before use.
If apples have bruised areas, simply cut them off, and grate the remaining apple into salads or cut into wedges and give to children as a snack.
Best eaten at room temperature.
At home best kept in the fridge 2 to 5°C. To keep fresher for longer, keep these apples in their original packaging.
Try to include a wide variety of colourful fruit and veg into your diet and aim for at least 3 different veg and 2 different fruits every day. One medium apple will provide 1 of your 5 a day. For more information, contact us or visit our website.
