Advice
Advice for Women – If you are pregnant, planning pregnancy or might just get pregnant you are recommended to increase the amount of Folic Acid in your diet. This is because Folate contributes to maternal tissue growth during pregnancy. The normal nutrient reference value (NRV) of Folic Acid is 200 micrograms (µg). Prior to pregnancy and during the first 3 months of pregnancy you are recommended to increase this level to 400 micrograms (µg) per day. Co-op Wholewheat Biscuits can help by providing 28% of the normal NRV or 14% of the increased NRV of Folic Acid in 2 biscuits.

Co-op Wholewheat Biscuits are high in fibre as they contain at least 6g fibre per 100g and low in fat as they contain no more than 3g fat per 100g of the food.
