We use plastic packaging to keep these Albert Bartlett potatoes in perfect condition. You can put this PE plastic film packaging into carrier bag collection points at most big supermarkets for recycling. If you shop on-line, you can usually give the empty bags to your delivery driver.
This new bag is made with 20% less plastic. If you look all the material we are removing from our 2kg packs of potatoes in a year, it would make enough bags to stretch by road and ferry from Edinburgh all the way to Milan!
